Please register by Oc- Appreciation expressed The Masontown United Meth- odist Church would like to thank all those who helped us with the Buckwheat Dinners- Your help was much appreci- ated. Thanks to all who came and ate. The church will serve a Buckwheat Cakes and Sausage Dinner the first day of deer sea- son- November 21- times to be listed later• Senior news The Valley District senior citi- zens held their monthly covered dish dinner at the Masontown Senior Center, on September 21. "A Little Bit of Italy", was the theme for the dinner. The menu consisted of various pasta dishes, garlic bread, salad and dessert. The center was honored by having several Italian ladies. Tecla DeBoni was unable to at- tend the dinner, but treated the seniors with a recipe of home- made meatballs and sauce. Later everyone was enter- tained by the "Masonto'wn Cen- ter Pickers". Forty seniors attended the Ital- ian feast. Those attending were: Doris Dalton, Charles Battista, Marie Battisti, Bob and Thel- ma Lipscomb, Carl Lipscomb, Linda Blosser, Bobby Moran, Arbutus Moran, Harry Franks Jr., Bill Jarrett, William and Jeri Metz, Bud and Virginia White, Ray and JoAnn Boring, Dick Bjorkman, Alice Walls, Tonya DeWitt, Mary Street, Howard Myers, Susie Holmes, Juanita Taylor, Lucille Hartsell, Ruby Davis, Mary P.
