Obituaries
JAMES HADDIX
James Ezra Haddix, 84, of
Paradise Cove, Knottsville
Communtiy, died Thursday,
November 17, 2011, at United
Hospital Center, Clarksburg.
He was born the eldest of l0
children, in Century, Barbour
County, November 29, 1926,
to the late Charles Ezra Haddix
and Flo Ethel (Godwin) Haddix
McCord. His wife, Eva Myrtle
(Brown) Haddix, preceded him
in death July 2, 2001.
He was retired, having been
a member of the International
Union of Operating Engineers
Local 132, with more than 50
years service. He most recently
worked for Dravo Construc-
tion, Pittsburg, PA, but had also
been employed by the B&O
Railroad as a fireman and engi-
neer. He was a certified welder
and welding instructor, and a
certified vocational instructor.
He attended the Destiny Taber-
nacle of Praise, in Elkins.
Surviving are one daughter,
Patti Hess and husband Fran-
• ces, of Brownlow Park; one
son Daniel Lynn Haddix and
wife Joy, of Pruntytown; five
grandchildren; five great grand-
children; seven siblings, Anna-
belle McVicker Loar, Theodore
"Ted" Haddix, both of Graf-
ton, Mildred Gadd, of Florida,
Blaine Haddix, of Grafton,
Carolyn Johnson, of Florida,
Douglas Haddix and wife Su-
zie, of Canton, OH, and Dennis
McCord, of Florida; and many
nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife he was
preceded in death by two sons,
Michael Jesse Franklin Had-
dix, in infancy, and James Da-
vid Haddix; one brother Harold
Haddix; and one sister Joan
Wyer.
Friends were receieved at
Bartlett Funeral Home, Graf-
ton, on Monday until the fu-
neral hour, with Pastor Joey
Ridenour and Pastor Jimmie
Johnson officiating.
Interment followed at Walnut
Grove Cemetery, Webster.
ELDORA MANKO
Eldora M. Manko, 88, for-
merly of Sycamore, Mt. Gilead,
and more recently of Gallon,
died Wed. Nov. 16, 2011. She
was born on Sept. 1, 1923 in
Kingwood to Clarence Sypolt
and Virginia D. (Beckman) Sy-
poll. They both preceded her
in death. She married Junior
E. Manko on Dec. 17, 1945 in
Oakland, M.D. and he preceded
her in death on Feb. 8, 1995.
She has a daughter surviving,
Mrs. Randel (Vickie) Hankins,

She attended the Harmony
United Methodist Church.
In her early years she was a
clerk at the Pells Grocery Store
in WV. She became a home-
maker and kept the books for
Rogers Lake Conversation
Club, Sycamore. She enjoyed
genealogy and shopping garage
sales. She also loved antiques
and going to antique shows.
A funeral service was held on
Sat. Nov. 19, in Bringman Clark
Funeral Home with Pastor Dal-
las Waggle officiating. Burial
followed in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may
be made to the Southern Care
Hospice in care of Bringman

JENNINGS FORMAN
Jennings Allen "Skeeter" For-
man of Tunnelton, died Thurs-
day, November 17, 2011 at his
residence.
He was born September 21,
1952 in Tunnelton, son of Jen-
nings Forman, of North Dakota
and the late Mary Jane Williams
Stevenson. He was raised by his
grandparents, Gall R. and Ethel
Marie Miller Williams.
He was a mechanic and en-
joyed working on cars. He also
liked the outdoors and worked
several years on a farm-in Ohio:
Surviving are six brothers,
Ronald Williams and wife Dor-
othy, Akron, OH, Ray Williams
and wife Janet, Arthurdale,
Lloyd Williams and wife Chris-
tine, Tunnelton, Raymond Wil-
liams and wife Judy, Tunnel-
ton, Willard Williams and wife
Dottle, Cleveland OH, Clyde
Williams and wife Annie, Tun-
nelton; two half brothers, Kirk
Stevenson and Mark Steven-
son, both of Bedford, OH; two
sisters, Vivian Long, Ravenna,
OH, Waneta Ridenour and hus-
band Donald, Tunnelton.
In addition to his parents, Jen-
nings was preceded in death by
step father, John Stevenson Sr.,
one half brother, John Steven-
son Jr., two brothers, Charles
Williams and Richard Williams,
one sister, Cleo Dunham and
one at infancy Theo Williams.
Family and friends were re-
ceived at the Bolyard Funeral
Home, Newburg, Sunday No-
vember 20, until time of service
with Pastor Bob Uphold offici-
ating.
Interment followed at the
Campground Cemetery in Tun-
nelton.

DOROTHY MURRAY
Dorothy Ann Murray, 63, of
Masontown, died Saturday, No-
vember 19, 2011 at her home.
She was born in Morgantown,
on January 14, 1948, a daughter
of the late Donald and Juanita
Mayfield Molisee.
She was employed by Russ
Uniform (which later become
Cintas) for 29 years.
She is survived by her husband
of 37 years, Thomas Murray;
two daughters, Sherry Joseph
and husband Bob, of Grafton,
and Danielle Murray and com-
panion, Eric Molisee, of Ma-
sontown; two sons, Tommy
Murray and companion Shayne,
of Kingwood, and Terry Mur-
ray, of PA; two sisters, Donna
Lambert and husband Mark,
of Masontown, Jeanie Bee and
husband George, of Mason-
town; four brothers, Dale Moll-
see and compainion Bobble
Smith, of Masontown, Delmas
Molisee and wife Debra, of PA.,
Dewey Molisee and wife Barb,
of Morgantown, and Donald
Mayfield, of Masontown; and
six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by
one sister, Marie Molisee; and
one grandchild.
Friends were received at the
Field Funeral Home, in Mason-
town on Tuesday November 22,
where services were held with
Pastor Terry Hagedorn officiat-
ing.
Interment followed at Mt. Zion
Cemetery in Masontown.
JAMES NICE
James Steven (Jimmie)Nice,
34, of Independence, died
Thursday, November 17, 2011.
He was born in Morgantown
on October 30, 1977, the son of
James H. Nice, of Independence
and Karen Sue Taylor Nice, of
Masontown.
He had worked at 3-D Drill-
ing, Heritage Site Development
Jus Metal
and the Sheltered Workshop.
In addition to his parents, he
is survived by a son, Cody Wil-
liam Nice, of Reedsville; two
brothers, Jeremy Allen Nice,
of Morgantown, and Jerome
Thomas Nice; several aunts and
uncles; and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by
his paternal grandparents, Lela
Nice and James Nice Sr; ma-
ternal grandparents, Maxine
& Lawrence Taylor; a cousin,
Thomas Richard Nice, Jr; and
an uncle, Donald Lee Taylor.
Friends were received at the
Field Funeral Home in Mason-
town on Sunday November 20,
where services were held with
Pastor Derek Syruws officiat-
ing.
Interment followed in the Au-
rora Cemetery.
RALPH RODEHEAVER
Ralph Eugene Rodeheaver
Sr., 61, of Terra Alta, died Fri-
day November 18, 2011 at the
Louis A. Johnson VA Medical
Center, Clarksburg.
He was born December 19,
1949 at Hutton, MD, a son of
the late Russell A. and Sylvia
Lewis Rodeheaver.
He is survived by one son
and spouse, Ralph E. Rode-
heaver Jr. and Michelle, of Oak-
land, MD; four stepchildren,
Larry and Roy Taylor, Tracy
Stiles and Wesley Stemple; six
brothers, Bill Rodeheaver, of
Cranesville, Gary Rodeheaver,
of Friendsviile, MD, John, Jim
and Homer Rodeheaver, all of
Oakland, MD, and Pat Rode-
heaver, of Baltimore, MD; five
sisters, Shirley Wakefield, of
Oakland, MD, Peggy McMil-
lion and Donna Torres, both of
Baltimore, MD, Jenny Smith,
of McHenry and Sue Bowser,
of Hutton, MD; two grandsons,
and six step-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held
Monday, November 21, at the
Oakland Church of the Naza-
rene, Oakland, MD with Rev.
Arthur Evans officiating.
Cremation services were han-
dled by Arthur H. Wright Fu-
neral Home, Terra Alta.
