14-THE PRESTON COUNTY JOURNAL- Wednesday, November 23, 2011 - Kingwood, WV
An autumn experience
On October 42, Pam Kessler's Kindergarten class at Fel-
Iowsville Elementary visited the Wade Harsh Farm in Eg-
Ion. The students learned about how pumpkins are grown
and harvested. Students also got the chance to enter the
pumpkin patch and pick their own pumpkins right off the
vine. Pictured is FES student Katie Annon and her mother
picking a pumpkin together. This trip was funded by the
county excess levy.
